Acknowledgement of Appreciation

A steadfast supporter of Hasbro Children’s Hospital, the Yawkey Foundation recently became the largest donor to the Every Child, Every Day campaign with an extraordinary commitment of $2,500,000. The Yawkey Foundation’s incredible support will enable us to continue renovating all corners of Hasbro Children’s Emergency Department to meet the growing needs of our community, both medical and behavioral. A heartfelt thank you, Yawkey Foundation, for being by our side as we seek to advance care for children through the Every Child, Every Day campaign!

The Procaccianti Family Foundation

The Procaccianti Family has been a stellar supporter of both Rhode Island and Hasbro Children’s hospitals for many years. From sponsoring events and programs to serving on the Rhode Island Hospital Board of Governors, along with Jim’s role as a Trustee of the Rhode Island Hospital Foundation and member of the Hasbro Children’s Hospital Advisory Council, the Procacciantis are philanthropic role models. Their recent leadership gift of $250,000 to our Campaign, targeted to renovations for Hasbro Children’s Hospital, is another reason for us to celebrate their longtime partnership.

For decades, University Surgical Associates (USA) has been supporting our community not only via their 51 surgeons representing multidisciplinary areas of expertise but through philanthropic support of more than $2 million to Lifespan. USA’s recent leadership gift of $250,000 to the Every Child, Every Day Campaign in support of renovations to Hasbro Children’s Hospital clearly demonstrates their commitment to help ensure a state-of-the-art facility that matches the reputation and excellence of our physicians, nurses and staff.

A longtime supporter of Lifespan Hospitals, the van Beuren Charitable Foundation’s remarkable generosity in the 1990s helped to build Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Recently, the Foundation partnered with us again by investing $250,000 in the Every Child, Every Day campaign to support much-needed renovations and help ensure that the families of Rhode Island will be able to depend on a state-of-the-art children’s hospital close to home. Thank you van Beuren Charitable Foundation for helping us to ready our hospital for the future!

Hasbro Children’s Hospital – Renovations Update

From the Ambulatory and Primary Care Center to the Emergency Department and in-patient floors, the planning stage to renovate and transform Hasbro Children’s Hospital is in full swing. At this time, design documents are in place and we look forward to providing more information about these transformative renovations in the next quarterly enewsletter.
